Pick a light & dark colour from your tube
I used light: #B8D0D7 & dark: #445496

 

1.

New canvas 750 x 275
Make a radial gradient
Angle 90, Repeats 6

Image Effects –> Seamless tiling
Factory Default settings

3.

Eye Candy 5 Texture Swirl
Settings: Random, Medium Spirals

4.

Copy & Paste wntext.1 as a new layer
In the layer palette change the blend mode to Soft light

5.

New raster layer
Fill with your dark colour
Layers –> New mask layer –> from Image
Choose your mask from the drop down menu
Click ok
Layer Palette –> merge group

6.

Duplicate the mask layer
Xenofex Constellation
Settings –> Bling Bling –> Default settings
Change background fill – Make Selection Transparent

7.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
and move to the left of your timeline tag
Add a drop shadow of choice
I used –2, –6, 76, 6 Colour #465797
Apply twice

8.

Highlight the top layer
New raster layer –> fill with your dark colour
Keep selected –> Contract 2 –> delete
Keep selected –> Contract 4 –> Selections Invert

Highlight each layer except the frame, and hit delete

 

9.

Add your Copyright, License, watermark and save as png.
Don’t forget, if using as a timeline cover FB does not allow adding a web address
ONLY add the copyright, artists name, license and watermark

10.

Window –> Duplicate
This will be to create your Profile picture.
Delete the frame, copyright and tube layers
Layer palette –> Merge visible

Crop tool –> 180 x 180 pixels
Move to a spot on your tag that you like
Click apply

12.

New raster layer –> fill with your dark colour
Keep selected –> Contract 2 –> delete
Keep selected –> Contract 4 –> Selections Invert

Highlight the bottom layer, and hit delete

Add your name or initials and save as png.
